📅 Grooming & Dog Walking Policies ✂️🐾 🐕 For New Clients To help ensure a smooth experience for you and your pet, please review the following policies: ✅ Appointments • All bookings must be made in advance and are subject to availability. • Same-day bookings are not guaranteed. • A deposit is required for new clients to secure their first appointment. ✅ Cancellations & Late Arrivals • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule. • Late arrivals over 15 minutes may result in rescheduling or a shortened session. • Deposits are non-refundable for no-shows or late cancellations. ✅ Health & Behaviour • Pets must be healthy and free from fleas or ticks. • Sessions may be paused or stopped if a pet shows signs of stress or aggression. • Please disclose any health conditions or behavioural issues before your appointment. • For safety, clients should not hold or remain close to their pet during grooming. This prevents distractions and reduces the risk of injury, as grooming involves sharp tools. ⸻ 🧼 Mobile Grooming Setup Policy I operate out of a fully equipped grooming van, bringing a safe and professional service right to your home. 🐶 For Dogs: • 🚐 My grooming van will need access to your driveway or a safe parking space close to your home • 💦 Access to a tap or hose connection for fresh water supply • 🔌 A nearby power outlet for grooming equipment (extension cord if required) • 🛁 Dogs are bathed in my portable bath, which is set up undercover at the van door 🐱 For Cats: • Cats are not groomed inside the van — grooming is carried out indoors in a quiet, secure space such as a laundry or bathroom for their comfort and safety • 💧 Access to warm water may be required if necessary • 🐾 Please keep other pets separated during the session • 🕓 Cat Readiness Policy: Please have your cat secured and ready before the groomer arrives, as cats often hide when they sense unfamiliar visitors. If your cat cannot be located or safely handled at the time of the appointment, a call-out fee of $50–$80 may apply and the session may need to be rescheduled
